The Stride Center, a non-profit organization bringing high tech employment opportunities to underserved individuals, launched its Opportunity Partner Program at an event hosted at Hitachi Data Systems in Santa Clara. Barrie Hathaway, Executive Director of The Stride Center, recognized ESG Consulting for its support through Volunteerism, Financial Support, Visibility and Employment of Stride Graduates.

Also recognized at the event were Hitachi Data Systems, Wells Fargo Bank, Chevron and Microsoft. In his keynote address, California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer spoke of partnerships as a solution to meeting the needs of our communities in these economically challenging times.
