• Act as a liaison between the Business organization and the IT division to transform business needs into information system solutions.
• Must be able to review, analyze, evaluate and negotiate business requirements and formulate system solutions to parallel overall business strategies.
• Possess excellent analytical skills to conduct technical analysis and tackle complex scenarios; troubleshoot based on business and system use cases, data models, entity-relationship diagrams, logical database design and business process map development using appropriate artifacts.
• Experienced with various life cycle stages of software development including requirements management, conceptual design, detail requirements, Unified Modeling Language (UML) model development, technical specifications and design, implementation and testing.
• Address issues in an effective and timely manner and achieve resolution and sign-off.
• Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact at various associate levels. Able to communicate, facilitate and lead across multi- organizational/cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams
• Assist the QA team in defining test cases and ensure full coverage of  functionality in these test cases.
• Prior experience and domain knowledge of Single-Sign On(SSO) will be highly desirable. Experience working with Netegrity’s SiteMinder a big plus.
• Basic familiarity with Software Engineering Institutes (SEI) principles and concepts including change management and version management principles.

Deliverables include but are not limited to:

• Detailed functional specifications – containing functional and non-functional requirements addressing areas including localization, usability, reliability, performance, supportability and security.
• Detailed System Use Cases to be consumed by the development team for design, development & testing.
• Process maps, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, state models, data models and swim lanes wherever appropriate to represent workflows and detail system behavior.
• Test cases to help the QA team build tests.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ yrs experience in systems and process analysis, software development, systems documentation and software testing principles
