Senior Web Service Developer
Title: Senior Web Service Developer (one position)
Responsibilities:
Develop new Web Service features for a mission-critical application. This application is used by client to control access to selected pages on the corporate external web site. The application is currently in production, but there are substantial architecture changes planned to improve the connectivity with other applications. Work direction will be provided by a technical lead. The services will be deployed on a Web Logic application server running on HP-UX.
Design, code, test, and document new features for the application. Modify existing Web Service code to add new features or correct defects. Develop Enterprise Java Beans to run on the Web Logic application server
Required Skills

3+ years of server-side Java development
-
Extensive J2EE development experience (specifically EJB and JMS)
-
Jakarta ANT
-
JDOM/Xerces/Xalan (Java XML manipulation toolkits)
-
Weblogic experience
-
Unix familiarity
-
Multiple-tier enterprise level web application development
-
SOAP on Java (Jakarta Axis/Web Services Toolkit/WASP/GLUE/XSOAP etc.)

Jakarta Struts experience useful
