Title: Integration Consultant (one position)

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for consulting with clients to integrate applications with client, an Identity Management solution based on Netegrity Siteminder which supports millions of users.. This role has two distinct dimensions to it.  One is technical consulting where to will help the clients with designing, troubleshooting, and supporting the integrations of applications with the client  solution.  Second is process and operations consulting where to track releases and its impacts to the clients, send formal business communications, follow-up technical escalations and lead technical discussions and meetings.  In both these tasks will need to rely on your consulting skills of excellence communications, planning and organization, judgment, customer interaction, all built on a solid technical foundation and understanding.

•            Work across a broad set of stakeholders with the skills to interface in a professional manner, striking a balance between the needs of the clients and the need of the business.
•            Work with technical architects, analysts and developers to understand the application and guide them technically to integrate their application with client’s.
•            Strong communications, planning and organizational skills so results are orderly, on schedule, and of exceptional quality:
•            Internal - Follow process lifecycle, process change requests, participate in change management meetings, manage client requests.
•            External – Enable clients to have predictable deployment schedules with high quality and no rework.  Participate in a variety of client facing meetings.
•           Communication, management and execution of activities with regards to support of  Web Agent upgrades, Data Center moves, and disaster recovery planning and exercises.
•            Provides managerial and technical guidance for solutions and process improvement.
•            Conducting technical reviews of proposed integration methods.  Good understanding of the integration points between various systems such as web servers, application servers, policies, and customer application.
•            Validation of components used as part of the clieent solution with clients through all stages of testing and into production including performance and load testing.
•            Meet client needs by acting with a sense of urgency and practicality
•           Create code samples, test cases and specific technical tools that can be used for application integrations when needed.
•            Provide Netegrity SiteMinder integration planning, design, configuration, architecture, and implementation to facilitate application security, user single sign on and user management functionalities for multiple web applications.
•            Create and maintain realms, rules, responses and policies through SiteMinder Administration interface.  Work with clients to ensure the above and other HPP components are designed and used correctly in their applications.
•            Working with the architects on the interface methods and components to ensure business needs are translated into a technical solution.
•            Work with Integration Managers, Networking, Architects and Development teams on client needs, scheduling, communications and planning.
•            Providing deep level support on customer or client reported problems with Netegrity and client interface methods.

Required Skills

•            2 years experience acting independently in a customer facing consulting role involving development, architecture, and support teams.
•            Experience on web services development, deployment and testing
•            Willingness to learn new technologies.
•            3 years demonstrated ability to isolate and troubleshoot problems in a complex system environment that uses Netegrity components.
•            Exposure to strong problem solving techniques such as Method of eliminations, trial and error, hypothesis
•            Development Languages: Skills in C, C++, Java, ASP, Siebel, BEA Web Logic environments for developing and reviewing customized Netegrity plug-in components as well as client code.
•            System skills: Windows environments and UNIX (particularly HP-UX).  Experience with IIS and .NET.
•            Experience on customer management roles with excellent oral and written communication skills.
•            Technical Status reports, Customer communication letters, Problem statements and technical cases, Technical escalation plans
•            Well organized, able to multi-task and meet team commitments and deadlines
•            3 years direct experience working in mission critical I.T. departments.
•            Degree in Computer Science from 4 year college

Desirable Skills

•            Successful completion of Netegrity training, with certification as SiteMinder Administrator.
•            Strong skills in C and C++ for developing and reviewing customized Netegrity plug-in components.
•            Ability to design, code and test extensions to the Policy Server such as Active Responses, Custom Authentication or Active Policies.
•            Formal CISSP, CISM, or CISA Certifications
•            Also experience with IIS, Apache, and iPlanet web servers. Experience with web service environments, including j2EE, servlets, and at least one container technology such as WLS.
