The intermediate designer provides design support in project administration, design development and with contract documents. 

• In addition to modifying drawing and providing project administrative support, this includes preparing design and contract documents, reviewing drawings, developing space plans, researching and selecting finishes. 
• The position requires a BA in interior design or architecture and 3+ years of experience working on commercial interior design projects. 
• Necessary skills include intermediate detailing skill, familiarity with ADA requirements, contract documents and administration and space planning methodologies.
•  Also needed are intermediate sketch and rendering skills and intermediate Auto Cad/ADT skills.

 The qualified intermediate designer will have:

• Experience in commercial interior design is required.
• BA in architecture or interior design
• 8+ years experience.
• Extensive knowledge of materials, furnishings, construction methods, building systems, codes and ADA requirements.
• Proven ability to write and negotiate contracts, an extensive knowledge of design principles and aesthetics, advanced communication skills and proven managerial skills
