HVAC Engineer Needed: Immediate job opening. Min. BSME, 10 years experience working with consulting engineering firm as a Project Manager/HVAC engineer, PE preferred. AutoCAD proficiency required. Recent employment experience with an HVAC consulting engineering firm in the construction industry, or with a design-build mechanical contractor required.

Computer skills are required to manage multi-discipline engineering teams and lead mechanical design supporting staff to meet design fee budgets. Experience must include specification writing, HVAC system selection, client meetings, proposal writing, cost estimating, and management of designer and cad operator level staff members. Project Manager will be responsible for completing projects within established design budgets.

Must be proficient at coordinating HVAC equipment, ductwork and piping layouts with architectural/structural designs and with in-house electrical and plumbing engineers to prevent conflicts during construction. Candidate must be flexible with project schedules and must have a strong ability to prioritize. Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Educational, or Hospitals a plus.

The selected candidate will have demonstrated competency in the following:

• Client interface and primary point of contact.
• Management of overall project budgets.
• Preparation of Proposals for mechanical and plumbing engineering services.
• Effective meeting minutes and action item tracking.
• Review of all discipline drawings for coordination.
• Detailed HVAC system design and component selections.
• Completing project tasks within established design budgets.
• Coordination with equipment vendors and suppliers for selected equipment.
