Verbal and written communications skills are critical, as you will be interacting with a variety of groups on a global basis, and you will be taking the initiative in gaining input and delivering feedback on all aspects of the product development process. Responsibilities include:
-Supports the development of new products by providing and/or facilitating DFA/M and DFT input to the development team.
-Generates and maintains accurate production BOM’s in accordance with established product structure.
-Assists in the prototype build and debug process.
-Ensures that the established engineering design verification requirements have been met.
-Provides sustaining engineering support to existing products. Helps maintain product margins through the execution of Value Engineering projects.
-Participates in the Defect Reduction Teams by working to identify and drive to resolution product issues
-Involved in the identification and implementation of process improvements
-Works with others to implement technical strategy

Required skills:
-Typically requires BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 3-5 years applicable experience.
-Basic understanding of fundamental circuit concepts.
-Demonstrates this understanding through the analysis of complex circuits and the ability to debug familiar boards.
-Interpersonal skills.

-Decision making.
-Meeting deadlines.
-Reports to NPIE Manager
-Interfaces with limited BU, Mfg., and CA personnel
